Boston Harbor Marine is one of the best marinas to shop from for used motors i have ever came across I bought a motor it was shipped within one day all the way from NH not one one scratch I live in Missouri and was treated like a true shipmate given all the specks on it ,The engine runs like a sewing machine , i really have to say Andrew Hoekstra know his business and his motors , five star.
I have been dealing with Andrew for a few years now. He is a class act and is most importantly always honest. Never lies about condition, never tries to over charge, and he is fair and easy to work with. I have bought quite a few things from him as well as sold him a few things and every single time it is smooth. My last purchase was a Yamaha outboard and the transaction was so easy it didn’t even feel like I bought anything. Great guy, great operation, and would recommend him to anyone!
I had a completely different experience buying an outboard. I bought a large E-Tec from Andrew in March that once I got it on the boat lasted a for less than an hour. It was installed by an Envinrude dealer, new hoses, new controls, etc.The first time I reached out to him to discuss it he said he couldn't talk because he was out of the country. Very professional, and courteous boat, buying experience at Boston Harbor Marine. The boat was ready for me to look over. The mechanic stopped what he was doing to answer my questions, and was highly knowledgeable and friendly. For example, Trim tabs didn’t work, The mechanic crawled under and found they weren’t plugged in and corrected the issue. Gave me pointers on preventive maintenance.
