Badger power. Engine Block Heater is worthless in Utah. For the price u should be able set outside temperatures for the 7 day mode. Also Maintenance mode shuts off at 39 degrees. I should be the one who should decides what temperature it shuts off at. I guess, ill find something else, or make a controller out of an old coffee maker.
Bought a Power Badger (v.1). Works really well except when it's not quite cold enough to be activated. Would probably be fine on a newer tractor, but mine's 40 yrs old. I inquired as to a way to adjust the cut-on temp and was told not on the v.1. Said it could be adjusted on the v.2, if I'd send mine back they would install v.2 circuitry for a reasonable fee. Awesome service! When I called Jeff to inquire if I could have to separate start times with my power badger, he explained the version 1 that I had isn't capable of doing that. But then he offered to trade it out for a version 2 that can, at no cost. Far above and beyond what I was expecting! Thanks Jeff!
