No time to take 1 screw put of 1 tire. Don't waste your time stopping here. Made us wait 15 minutes before even telling us it would be hours
Need to start by clarifying I do not drive a truck, but a small SUV. While traveling for work I had a tire blow less than a mile from this truck stop. I pulled into the parking lot thinking I would be having to figure out how to get my spare on myself, only to realize there was a tire shop. So I asked if I could get some help getting my spare on, and Sam helped me and had me on my way quicker than I ever could have done it myself! And didn’t charge me anything! I was so appreciative of his work and kindness that evening.
I want to share our recent experience because I believe other trucking companies and owner-operators should be aware. We took our trailer to a repair shop because of a leaking hub seal. We requested an inspection and an estimate, which came back at over $5,000 for multiple repairs. We appreciated the inspection, but as the equipment owner, we decided not to authorize the full estimate and instead have the remaining repairs completed elsewhere. While traveling from NM to STL my travel trailer leaf spring broke leaving me stranded along I44. I was towed to Boss. It became a "mission" to repair my rig for these guys even after the parts house in Springfield sent the wrong brackets. They managed to source the parts from several places and by 11pm sent me on my way. Excellent service, kind and respectful mechanics. Thanks guys!!!!
