I just recently had baby number three. My experience with lactation consultants (LC) with baby one and two was awful. I had reservations going here with baby three as the LC at the hospital I delivered at was impatient and physically rough with me. I am so glad I went and saw Alicia at Carolina Coast Lactation. She was so patient, gentle with me and baby, and was so full of knowledge. I left feeling more confident in my breastfeeding and pumping journey.
Alicia is amazing. She is so informative, patient, and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to assess our feeding situation. She picked up on things other specialist and doctors have missed, and I left feeling so hopeful and confident! I regret not going to her sooner. Alicia helped save me from getting mastitis days after delivery, when my milk came in. I wasn't sure how to help myself in the situation I was in. When I reached out to her, she was able to get me on her schedule immediately. Alicia is very genuine and generous. She gave me a complimentary bleb kit to cure what I had. Finding Carolina Coast Lactation has been such a blessing! My daughter went from not latching at all to having the best latch and feed in office. They made me a detailed care plan and took the time to explain everything with me. Without them my breastfeeding journey would be over. So thankful for them!
I cannot say enough good things about Terra. She was thorough in helping me on my breastfeeding journey. I was completely overwhelmed and lost when I came to her and she helped me so much.
