I seriously can’t recommend Alicia enough. Breastfeeding twins felt so overwhelming at first, and there were definitely moments where I thought, “there’s no way I can do this.” But Alicia never let me stay in that mindset—she was so knowledgeable, supportive, and constantly reminded me that I could do it. I am now a firm believer that every mother should see not only a lactation consultant, but a good one. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to go see Alicia right after my son was born. She has helped me get to exclusively breast feeding, which was a huge goal for me. She is kind, extremely knowledgeable, and patient as I ask my 10,000 questions. I absolutely recommend!!
I just recently had baby number three. My experience with lactation consultants (LC) with baby one and two was awful. I had reservations going here with baby three as the LC at the hospital I delivered at was impatient and physically rough with me. I am so glad I went and saw Alicia at Carolina Coast Lactation. She was so patient, gentle with me and baby, and was so full of knowledge. I left feeling more confident in my breastfeeding and pumping journey.
Alicia is amazing. She is so informative, patient, and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to assess our feeding situation. She picked up on things other specialist and doctors have missed, and I left feeling so hopeful and confident! I regret not going to her sooner. Alicia helped save me from getting mastitis days after delivery, when my milk came in. I wasn't sure how to help myself in the situation I was in. When I reached out to her, she was able to get me on her schedule immediately. Alicia is very genuine and generous. She gave me a complimentary bleb kit to cure what I had.
