I foolishly didn't get a quote for my log book service for my Hyundai Tucson and was charged $692 inc $440 labour for what was a fairly basic service. I almost fell over when I was handed the invoice and have since been advised by another mechanic that this was an egregious overcharge. Great mechanic but needless to say, I won't be going back
