Same thing happened to me. Cost me $174 for the estimate and he quoted me $500 for the repair to exchange an oven light and spark on the burner. I can cook without the light and use a lighter for the burner.
I called this number to reach to "Appliance Doctor", supposedly a reputable company in Westchester County area. We had issues with our fridge and dishwasher. The technician came, said he doesn't have the parts needed to repair the fridge, and told us our dishwasher is okay whereas it is not. We just lost ~$240 and an hour of our life. Not recommended.
