I did not have much of a choice when my father was admitted. Nursing homes generally do not have very many rooms set aside for males. My father is not very stable on his feet, they allow him to walk alone. He has fallen many times.
I am very pleased with this facility for my mother, so are other residents family members that I have spoken with. The staff treats the residents like guests, not an inconvenience. Friendly and helpful staff, daily/weekly routines are set-up well, an overall nice family-run place. Max. three to a room; most are just two per room, what they strive for. Rooms are good-sized.
My dad was there, four people to a room and it was so noisy in the room he could not get any sleep at night. I did not REALLY look the place over before hand....I should have! Beware....
