A great short stay at halls gap Boronia peak is not busy and a very rustic old school track with no pretty handrails and guard rails to stop you doing anything once at the top. It's a very amazing 360° view of the mountains and a little bit rugged at the top so make sure you got good shoes on.approx 1.25hrs each way
A decent hike that has a nice mixture of flat ground, steps, and rock scrambling. Be sure to wear proper foot wear as the path can be quite rocky in parts. I did this walk on a Tuesday in late September and there was so many beautiful plants and flowers in bloom, so much colour everywhere, even spotted quite a few wild orchids. Breathtaking 360⁰ view once your get to the top that makes the steep end absolutely worth it!

On the more difficult side for walks. Starts off on nice easy wide track. At turn off to Boronia Peak turns all rocky and continuous elevation. Ends with a scamper up the rocks to reach the top for 360 degree views.
