As a first-time mom, I was looking for some guidance on my unexpected breast feeding journey and was matched with Marcella through a 3rd party website. Marcella has been wonderful to work with. We met towards the end of my pregnancy to discuss a feeding plan that allowed me to breastfeed and my partner to help during the nights. After baby came, I struggled with latching and I was able to see Marcella quickly to help. After a few days of practicing her tips, baby was nursing well and gaining weight. She is a great listener and wanted to support my family best for our goals. She is honest, intentional, and truly an expert! I am so glad she was recommended to me!!
I have had a wonderful experience with Marcella. She is so kind, supportive, responsive and knowledgeable. One thing I especially appreciate is how she leaves detailed notes after each visit, summarizing what we discussed and her recommendations. I am so grateful for her help!
Amanda and Jessie were an absolute delight to have in our home for postpartum support! We welcomed our 3rd baby, so our house is pretty chaotic, and they both meshed in so well - just like an extension of the family. So helpful, kind, considerate, flexible, all the things you’d want/need in postpartum care. I’m sad they both couldn’t stay with us forever!!
Marcella is the best. She did 2 in-home lactation consultant visits for my wife and I after our daughter was born. Her knowledge, skill, and grace was top-notch. Marcella made us feel confident and motivated to continue breastfeeding. I highly recommend Marcella. She is truly an expert in her field.
