My partner and I were stranded due to poor workmanship done by Borgs automatics. He wouldn’t cover any cost of repairs. Ruined our trip as well as 2 other cars travelling with us. who wouldn’t leave us stranded.
My original transmission done 240000km. Had a transmission rebuilt by Adam, paid $4000 + $500 which he instructed me to get valvebody rebuilt by another shop in order to retain warranty. As he’s not comfortable to rebuild the valve body. Adam had the converter sent to his supplier to rebuilt. I paid Adam on the invoice for both converter and transmission rebuild. Sending a Turbo 400 across the strait to Victoria for a rebuild was daunting but Adam at Borgs was highly recommended and rightfully so From start to finish i was kept in the loop, the standard of workmanship, price and its safe return, made me very happy I would highly recommend to anyone
