No payment plans and pretty much tell you too bad if you can’t afford a needed $500+ procedure. Their idea of a payment plan is Care Credit which has an insanely high interest rate. They are apart of the problem with healthcare this country. $$$
Initially everything was fine. When I scheduled my appointment I was told that there would be no cost to me for my mammogram because of a family history of breast cancer only to receive a bill. When I followed up and spoke with a supervisor, I was told it was my insurance company's fault and when my insurance was verified it showed $0 out of pocket. Two years ago they billed the wrong insurance. I immediately called them the first time I got a notice and provided them with the correct information. I have continued to provide them with the correct insurance number at least an additional 10-15 times during this time via phone and mail. I didn’t hear from them for almost a year and a half believing this was resolved Then, at end of February, they send me a bill for $995. Borg & Ide spam texts me frequently. Have called several times to ask to be removed from their lists but they keep at it.
The appointment itself was fine, but their billing is really messed up. B&I requires full upfront payment for the visit, no exceptions, and proceeded to overbill me by $200 at a time when I was already under a lot of stress. Had I not specifically checked my insurance EOB after the visit, I would have never known. I called Radnet to get a refund for the overpayment and while they did acknowledge the error, I'm still waiting for the money to go back on my card two weeks later.
