I was originally referred to Boreal for a Radioactive-Iodine consult for my cat who had been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, kidney disease, and weight loss issues. During the consult we learned that she also had IBD, and after some tests and discussions with the doctor, we decided on a treatment plan. A huge huge thanks and big hugs to everyone at Boreal. I had called for an emergency regarding my cat and the receptionist was beyond understanding and lovely understanding my panic, when I got there she was basically waiting for me and got us in a room immediately. I have nothing but great things to say, my baby was at the end of her life she just needed a little help, i decided to make the drive to Edmonton from Fort Mac I showed up with her, they immediately put us into a comfort care room and everyone I encountered that day was so lovely, empathetic and I truly felt they actually cared. I have just started working with Boreal a couple weeks ago, but I just wanted to say how grateful I am for: 1. The way they have fast tracked my baby’s exploration/treatment when they theorized that he had an aggressive form of cancer (which they were proven to be 100% correct about). 2. Jennifer and Jade’s compassionate and effective care. I highly recommend Boreal Veterinary Centre. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly , professional and clearly very knowledgeable. The clinic itself is bright and very clean. We also didn't have to wait long at all to be seen, which made a stressful situation much easier. Thank you to the team for the great care
