Me and my wife had a wonderful weekend at the Boreal Backcountry Cabins! Just a short 3.1 miles in on the Superior Hiking Trail and very easy to navigate. The owner was very pleasant and helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. What a beautiful piece of property, and great little cabins. Price of stay was very reasonable. We are already looking forward to our next visit 😊.

Stayed here over the long weekend with my friends, it was such an incredibly relaxing experience. Sonja was a delight and made sure we had plenty of firewood for the full weekend. The cabins were very clean and well maintained. The hike in from the trial head was relatively easy and I was able to complete it in the dark! I will absolutely be returning!

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience deep in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful! The stars were very bright! Wish we could have stayed another night or two. The hike in was pretty easy, but best to keep packing to the essentials, plus some beer and wine. Cabin was clean and comfortable too. Staff was very nice and left us alone (something we really wanted).

We want to take a few minutes to rave about our recent experience at BBC. First of all the setting of the property is gorgeous and the detail and planning of each cabin is extremely well thought out for guests. It was an experience that was not expected in the back country just off SHT. It allowed us to have the perfect combination of backpacking and simple luxuries. This was a beautiful, peaceful space... lovely details, solar lighting, delicious water, a nice propane heater for heat. And the owner, Sonya, came and rescued me by picking me up where I was camping and driving me to the trailhead. She is rocking wonderful!!!
