I hired Bordi Restoration to abate chemical residue from plug-in diffusers that were used in my house. I had the owner Craig come to do the initial evaluation and he appeared competent. I sent Craig the specific chemical that was used in the diffuser to make sure he could remediate/abate it, and I was assured by those in his office he reviewed that material and that they could remediate it and if the plan did not work, they would come out again until my house was restored. I have only once needed an asbestos abatement, and that was over 30 years ago on a different house. When a floor installer said we had to get the kitchen floor tested in our 1961 house, my heart sank. That abatement, far in the past, had been an awful experience and very expensive.
