My mother has been a patient at Border City Orthopedics and unfortunately, this has been an extremely frustrating and distressing experience for her. The reviews truly don’t come close to explaining how bad this place actually is. While the doctor himself may be skilled, his ability is completely overshadowed by incompetent staff. They repeatedly failed to plan properly, retrieve necessary documents, or send paperwork on time. Basic tasks you would expect from any professional office. Dr. Fernandez did a great job on my ACL reconstruction procedure in September. He had me go to physical therapy first and determined I needed surgery because my knee was still pretty unstable. I was able to have surgery rather quickly. 6 months later my knee feels good and the scarring is minimal. The staff was nice also.
Dr. Fernandez and his staff have always been helpful. My surgery went well and my knee replacement is doing very good. I am happy with my outcome.
Went to this Dr For evaluation on my hip pain, Sent me to clinic for injection procedure wasn't covered never heard back from office again. Charge $35 for paperwork? No thanks.
