Lack of accountability and communication are the main reasons for the 3 stars. Also, our basement flooded 4 months after our home was completed because the sump pump failed and we lost so many photos and heirlooms…
Update years later: Although the building process was not ideal, the house was great. All warranty work was handled well and Kim was extremely responsive. Side Note: My parents have had 2 Bordeau homes and have been treated very well. Absolutely ruined what should have been an amazing experience for my family. Horrible to work with, no communication at all, many issues with brand new home, absolutely no accountability for any problems. They Set the bar for quality buiding & craftsmanship. Gary Bordeau takes pride in every home he builds. Buying or selling his son Joe Bordeau is the hardest working real estate agent in the business with the results to prove it
Building a home during the pandemic was not a walk in the park. Completion took a little longer than expected due to a back logged supply chain, however, no attention to detail or quality was spared. We are still in awe as the finished product has far exceeded our expectations. Thank you to Gary B., Nick B., Kim, Jamie M. and the rest of your team for your guidance and for doing everything possible to build our beautiful home during this crazy and unprecedented time. Highly recommended!
Horrible from start to finish…well it was never actually finished. Absolutely ruined what should have been an amazing experience for my family. If you have any interest in building, look elsewhere or buckle up for a wild ride. The worst part is that we have to deal with this company for the remainder of the warranty…yay!
