One Star, Heartbreaking Experience Our 12-year-old Labrador suddenly became lethargic overnight. We rushed him to this clinic on Sunday morning, the only one open nearby as he was declining fast. I waited 45 minutes in the exam room before the vet, an older man, finally arrived. He made me lift my heavy dog onto the table myself, only checked his vitals, and claimed his heart was fine despite laboured breathing and a high temperature. Extremely caring, compassionate, professional and absolutely go above and beyond. Extremely competitive in pricing, very clean, and plenty of off street parking. I cannot thank all of the staff at Booval Vet Hospital enough. They took amazing care of my old boy Christmas, and have really helped through the entire processes. I had a very bad experience with this clinic. I brought my rat in to treat what seemed to be an ear infection. The doctor examined him, took a swab for testing (without informing us of the cost beforehand), confirmed the ear infection (which we already suspected), and prescribed antibiotics. Consequently, we paid for the consultation, the test (an additional ~$80), and the medication. The only reason we needed a new Vet Clinic was we needed one much closer to home as our usual is around an hrs drive now. Booval was recommended to us by our Vet. Really disappointed. Our Vet came in and sat at her computer for 10 minutes making notes before turning around and asking me to put my dog on the table. It was our first time so I get that I had to give you history but it would have nice to do that face to face rather than someone's back.
