We actually went down a bit to grasshopper point - but same river and parking wasnt full. It was an easy walk for me recovering from foot surgery post 6weeks out- it was so beautiful and such a hidden little gem! I had been looking for somewhere i coukd take my boys that wasnt a mile hike to get to and this place was perfect. Maybe 5 min walk to the water from the parking lot. Beautiful place to swim. The Oak creek has a beautiful pool here surrounded by surreal forest
Has the most beautiful trailheads and also has the most scenic overviews I've ever seen
Cool spot with lovely scenery and good spots by the river. Unfortunate that there was piles of used toilet paper and feces on the trail.
