Bootlegger Guitar is a truly great find. Most of the Online Videos do not do justice to the quality and playability of this Instrument. If you need a fully functional Guitar in a compact size, do not hesitate. Chuck's outstanding customer service is well documented in the Reviews.
Got the blue hounder and it did not disappoint! The action, intonation and everything was great right from the start. Clearly a solid, well-built guitar and I’ve played many for about 40 years. I have my eye on another bootlegger guitar now…I’ve probably started something dangerous! Probably the most underrated guitar at a price that is way below the craftsmanship.
I received my Royal body style guitar a couple months ago. I’ve waited to leave this review in order to be as accurate as possible. This brand might be the best purchase you could make, ever. the quality of the wood, the build itself, the tuners, the pickups, the finish- all with a floating FRS and a hard case? it’s unbelievable. the tone is crisp and full. and all at a very affordable price: I’ve seen guitars 3-4x this price with even less to offer. Bootlegger guitar is great and the owner, Chuck, is a very nice guy! Having previously looked for a new guitar at Guitar Center, I was much more pleased with Bootlegger and the personal experience that it offered. Chuck was honest, helpful, and even gave me some tips on practicing. I got the Bootlegger royal and am very happy with it. I bought the Tube distortion pedal first and it made me get rid of every distortion pedal on my board yeah it's that good almost toooooo good. Very powerful so you need to dial it in. I just got the overdrive pedal yesterday and not surprised it is just as good. I use these through my 2 1978 Marshall 50 watt heads and it takes them to a new level.
