Bootleg Barber is a gem. Tucked away in the back of the Dayton boot cobblers shop you get an immediate feeling of nostalgia when you enter the building. Rich smells of leather and wood fill the air. This was my first time in an old school barber shop since I was a kid. It met my every expectation I had. An authentic East Van styling combined with the classic vintage of an old world barber shop. Great haircut, conversations and atmosphere. Keeping the East Van spirit. It’s a bonus when Buddy Love (#1 canine) is in the house!
Dustin is the man! His space in the back of the old Dayton boot factory is a must see. If you’re down with the smell of leather, Vancouver history and thought provoking conversation with a great barber check him out!
