Every time I step into Boot Barn for FR gear, my whole personality upgrades. The leather smell hits. Boots stand at attention. Denim towers like it’s guarding the frontier. I walk in needing flame resistant shirts for the oil patch… and somehow leave feeling like I should own cattle and settle land disputes before lunch. 🤠 And then there’s Val. Not the best customer service. It took forever for someone to help us out in the hat section. Mind you a few of them were at the register chatting. We bought an almost 400 dollar hat and they didn’t even bring out a box for it. Bad attitudes were given after we asked for one and they gave even more attitude when we said we wanted the original box, or at least one that said Stetson, like the hat. It should have been a really fun experience and it turned out pretty crappy.

I went in found an employee to ask a question and before she could answer me she ran off to help someone else. She just totally left me hanging. I could have seen myself spending a lot of money in that store but I won't be spending a dime now.
