The Town of Boone NC has numerous high-paid positions, rules, forms, and a police guarding the administrator’s parking spaces yet it is so inefficiently run that the simplest things are impossible to get accomplished. What a horrible experience in Boone. The town clearly writes predatory parking tickets. Online it said the post office was open. We parked and walked inside only to find that they in fact were closed. Never having been there, we walked all around the building thinking maybe we had entered the wrong section. When we came back we had a parking ticket. As we stood there in shock and assuming the officer had to be near by bc we hadn't been there 10 minutes, we checked all the other cars parked in the same row and none of them ha... read more
Emailed several times. Called left messages regarding noise ordinance for bars in city limits. NO RESPONSE!
Horrible experience in Boone! The town parking officers lie and give you tickets 12 minutes early and the town is way too busy and drivers are rude and try to ram you off the streets. The police needs to be out patrolling. Spent 2 days in this horrible town never saw the police department once! Drivers speed like crazy on 105 through town and on Blowing Rock Road too!
