I had to get routine appointments this past couple of years. The staff at 7:00am are so bright, helpful and expedient at that early hour. The staff know what they are doing in that it does not hurt as everyone imagines it should. Whenever I have questions, they get to the bottom of it and want me to stay informed. Thank you for the care and service to the organization,
Do NOT let them touch you! The lady shoved the needle directly into the nerve AND blew the veins. Horrific pain. Never had this happen before coming here. Go anywhere else!
Went on a Monday, staff said there was a long wait time (unusual but what can you do), and there definitely was, but everything from registration to blood work was very fast. Staff was super friendly and was very willing to accommodate when I asked for a smaller needle.
Had many blood draws and IVs during my week stay at Boone, mostly good experiences. But one specific lab worker came to take 3 vials in the morning. I told him I’m a hard stick and to use the smallest needle possible. He didn’t believe me and proceeded to use the regular size needle for blood draws, and missed. He then tried again with the SAME needle and blew my vein. He then got a smaller needle, missed, then reused the same one AGAIN and missed.
