The experience I had trying to schedule a consultation at this clinic was ridiculous. After a initial barrage of phone calls over several days that I was unable to answer, after I finally was able to take one of their calls and get an appointment on the books, I was immediately called back to say that they double-booked the appointment and that the burden was on me to reschedule. I wanted to give a huge compliment to Georgia at the Harris Breast Clinic at Boone Hospital. Yesterday I went to get my annual mammogram. I was checked in efficiently and with some hilarious conversation from the Lady at the check in area. Then was taken care of by Georgia, that was the lab tech (I believe that’s her role?) She was very efficient, excellent at directions for me to follow for the best outcome and resulted in the best images so I would not have to retake any scans. I have been going here for several years and have never been treated the way i was this morning. The mammogram tech needs some coaching in how to treat patients.She was short and rude and made me feel like I was bothering her. I hope that by the time I come back next year she will not be there. Normally they give the best care. She made a stressful situation even more stressful.
I visited for my first mammogram today and wanted to share my experience. Deanna at the main check-in was fantastic. Although there was a bit of a line, she handled the situation very well. She remained positive and polite while working quickly to ensure everyone was taken care of! The mammogram technician, whose first name I believe was Jill, was also great.
