Very informative. I loved the Gullah experience!!!
This was our first plantation tour and it was certainly educational. My young daughters are interested in history and as a parent I appreciated the very frank talk about the enslaved. It was presented in a way that was easy to understand all while not sugarcoating the difficult part of our history. It is a business, with no real historical content. It was a let down, house is not authentic as it was built in the 30's the Gulloh presentation did not tell us about their way of life. It was just a bunch of random information about the way they spoke. Go see some authentic history, skip this one.
My favorite Charleston plantation I've been visiting since I was a little girl. An absolute perfect time capsule of the old south.
