About this business

In the early 18th century, cotton plantations were enormously profitable, and this stunningly beautiful estate wasa giant of Charleston's lowcountry cotton farming. An Authentic Experience The grounds and house are beautiful - the tour guide we had was very knowledgable and informative. They often have festivals on the grounds which is a great opportunity to tour the grounds and get some great food!

Great historical tour This was my first plantation visit, and definitely a fun and informative one at that. The house itself was fun to tour and our tour guide was superb and offered lots of interesting pieces of history. It was also neat to tour the grounds and see the garden and cotton growing, as well as the row of old slave cabins. There is a little place where you can eat lunch as well. Even the road leading up up to it was absolutely beautiful.
