Boondocks Brewing Tap Room & Restaurant's goal is to provide a fresh, unique and engaging destination that will not only attract new visitors to West Jefferson and Ashe County but will also be a place that residents are proud to call their own. This place was amazing and incredibly dog friendly. The best margarita and pretzel I've ever had!!!
Recently visited West Jefferson and found this gem in the quaint downtown area. We were fortunate to sit at the bar and meet the wonderful and fantastic Murliegh “Mur”. She and the staff were welcoming and so friendly. She is the star of this place. So much so we returned many times just to visit with her. Fun place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good menu - something for everyone. When we are back next year, this will be our first stop!
Had dinner with my wife, celebrating my birthday
The food was amazing and the staff were top notch! First of all I would like to say that RJ has renovated and turned this tavern to the only gig in town. The place is a hidden gem with the bar side and restaurant area. I thought, where is West Jefferson? This is a charming little town with quant and warm shops along the main street. I highly recommend this place for the delicious food and the people who work here! Thanks so much RJ!
