☆☆☆☆ Purchased an EJ255 engine advertised as “running well with no rattles.” After professional installation by a Subaru specialist, the engine had a knocking bottom end immediately and was clearly faulty. While the engine itself was eventually refunded, I had to chase repeatedly for reimbursement of labour and towing costs, despite providing invoices and clear evidence.
