We were here back in June and now back again for a week this time. The $10 per night RV no-frills area across the road is no big deal. yes theres trucks on the main road after all it is harvest time out here. and walking across the road to the amenities and the pools - so what? its no different to walking across the road to the shops back home. its a great place for a swim and splash in the hot pools and the pub does damn good tucker at night
stayed there for one night unpowered. we had to take a site next to the main road although there were better sites empty. To get to pools and amenities we had to cross main road with road trains zipping through every few minutes all day/night. Byebye serenity and sleep. Amenities were clean though.
Friendly staff. Close by are the artesian pools.
Baths are great.caravan park not so good. caretakers sour as. Dont go here if wet. Instead of gravel or blue metal they filled the park with clay type fill that has turned to a bog within minutes of rain.
This was our first and last time at this caravan park it only takes one to spoil it for others. The food was good the amenities beautiful and clean but the caretaker needs to brush up on her PR skills We had been in paid told to take our choice on unpowered site. we parked in the middle of our site not wanting to put the awning out we were told we HAD to call at shop book and pay of which we had already done we were told we HAD to move van over to the edge as they would get busy.
