Fraud. Like everyone else is saying... just wish I'd checked here first. They just take your money and run. I ordered from them weeks ago. They emailed me saying they contacted "the distributor." What distributor?oof, I think this is probably just a fraud company that pretends to sell books.Would be nice to have my order or have my money back.

Fraud alert. ZERO stars. Shoppers beware. Somehow, even though I clearly declined their magazine offer in November 2022, I was charged over $50 and sent 4 different magazines between Dec 2022 and 3.1.2023. Apparently, having a membership with BAM means they can charge you for things you dont want without your permission. Yes they cancelled the subscriptions. I hope the refund goes thru but I should never have had to deal with this in the first place. what a bunch of con artists. I will be buying my books elsewhere forever.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Unfortunately you think a known company would be better. Do NOT order online. Placed order 1/2. No updates and its 1/28. Emailed customer service numerous times. No response. On 1/17 Live chat said they are waiting on shipment from distributor. 1/28 still no updates. nothing was said about about distributor when I placed the order.. first I was upset about not getting the product I ordered. Now, I am angry at the lack of - or better said- non-exsistent customer service.

We're sorry the product has not come into the warehouse for shipping out to her. I have reached out to the warehouse again to see when or if they expect the item to come in. Either way, I will email the customer back. Thank you.

I'm disappointed. I received an autographed book with missing pages. I understand that misprints happen but to not receive a replacement book or to be expected to return my limited edition autographed copy? Not ok. I should have received an un-autographed replacement or more than $* back when my purchase was over $** with shipping. Because now besides being autographed, the book I purchased is useless. I've never ordered Books-a-Million online, but I won't be ordering again.

Do not order from website. Purchased multiple books they had listed as in stock and then received emails saying they contacted their distributor to get them for my order. Dishonest company, will give them a week to get order. If not shipped by then I'll just contact my credit card company to reverse the charge.

The customer should call us at 1-800-201-3550 and speak to a customer service representative as his card needs to be updated before the items can be shipped.

So... I'm at the store in Hattiesburg, MS and walk past an end-cap in the Young Adult section. Every single book on the end-cap had blatant profanity in the title. Down low on eye level with small children and directly in front of two shelves of young adult books. That's not even close to appropriate. I can't spend money there anymore. Kids see enough filth in the world without having it placed directly into their path.

I was at your store in Vienna, West Virginia at the Grand Central Mall when an employee insulted me out of no where. My friend and I were checking out with this employee, and she saw my college t-shirt and asked me “how can you afford to go to college?” I replied jokingly and said I could “barely get by.” She then proceed to ask me in a mocking tone “Do mommy and daddy pay for it?” I was baffled by her attitude, as I was nothing but friendly to her from the moment I came to the register. I ordered back in March 3 2022 a book from Books a millions I went threw affirm loan they kept emailing me that item wasn't in stock. Then finally email me they have the book and would be shipping me the book. Then turn around and try to charge my debit card that I never told them to cause affirm was handling my payments and without notice they cancelled my order so they could charge me more if I wanted to reorder.
