I had a consultation a few years back with Lorne Book. It was a horrible experience. He didn’t believe me, he got ugly with me, threatened to contact the executor (who is no longer the executor) to see what they had to say about me. He clearly did not want to help me. He made me feel like I was the one to blame for the situation I was put in. The way he treated me was not ok. I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with this attorney. I attended a meeting with a senior from my church who asked me to consider becoming her Power of Attorney, as she has no immediate family nearby.
