Chinese and prime rib, all at one place! This place is fabulous! Formally Spatt's who had some of the best prime rib ever, I was disappointed when I heard there was a chinese restaurant moving in. To my surprise not only was the chinese food delightful...but they kept the prime rib on the menu!
Best Salty Spicy Shrimp I have ever tasted. The Bonsai Peking Ravioli's can't be beat and the House Fried Rice is a winner every time. Top all that off with the Bonsai house blend Scorpion bowl and you have a meal and drink that will keep you coming back again and again. Wonderful staff, prompt service and lovely updates make this hidden gem worth the drive from anywhere.
If I could give 0 stars I would. We are so disappointed. We so enjoyed the old Spatt's and were regulars. We loved the feeling there, it was kind of like Cheers, everyone knew our name. It was wonderful, homey, friendly, inviting, although was terribly decorated... we had many parties, friends, etc meet us. We knew all the staff and I even got in trouble for getting my own popcorn.
