The staff is always friendly and courteous and the food is always good and ready when I get there.
Great service & family friendly. We will call in a dinner order on our way home and take it home. I have also used them for catering and been happy with my experience.
Don't be fooled by company written reviews. Worst Bono's in jax.Chicken dried out & about the size of a dove.Ribs so small no meat on them & salty.Oh,& if you call in an order this is what you get,Can you please hold,& you're lucky if they ever come back to take your order.Used to be a good restaurant but seems to be cutting corners for volume instead of quality. Employees don't care.Find somewhere else to be eat barbecue..

Waited over 10 mins at table waitress never came over to my table. So i decided to leave i asked to talk to manager by phone while still in parking lot and was told the manager was to busy to take a phone call. I would suggest driving a few more miles up the road to the Pig on lem turner for better service they greet yoi as you walk in the door they are much more attentive and friendly
So, so excited for my pick-up of 3 bar-b-cue dinners, inside cut and chopped real fine..... Yea! Love it.
This sounds like a wonderful place to dine, but unfortunately I live in Virginia. Iam very curious to know if this was once Peg Leg's Oyster Bar in the 70s. I found one of my old check stubs to be only $2.15 for 4 hours. Does anyone remember Peg Legs ???? If I ever get to Jville, I will surely have "Bonos" at the top of my list to dine....
It was good food when we ate inside once but don't get take out. I paid $25 for 3 bar b q pork sandwiches and was shocked when we got home. It was mostly thick black hide, fat and a tiny bit of meat. Not edible. Very disappointed. Return my $25, please.
