Went to Bonnie Vee for Game 5 of the Knicks (or so I thought). We had been there for about an hour and had just ordered a fresh round of drinks when, right as the game started, the manager announced that everyone needed to leave because there was a private party at 9 PM. The bar’s candlelit décor gave it a pleasant ambiance, and the lemon drop was enjoyable. However, I had issues with the service. I asked the bartender to split the bill, but he combined it. When I explained I didn’t have change for a $100 bill, he insisted I go find an ATM. That lack of flexibility hurt the experience. Overall, I’d rate it a 3 out of 5."
