Well we just had our female red die before her 6th birthday from DCM.. TOTALLY DEVASTATING ...so sad this dog had a super special temperament , an old soul for sure .. to have her keel over and die at such a young age is unacceptable. Such a horrible experience .. definitely would not recommend this breeder for obvious reasons should have a zero star rating

**STAY AWAY** My wife and I contacted Suzanne Slipher about 3 months ago and inquired about purchasing a puppy. She was very pleasant on the phone during our first call. We are in the middle of a pandemic so we went against our best judgement about visiting the dogs and went ahead and put down a large deposit on a future litter that had yet to be born. I had a wonderful experience with this Breeder. She’s very smart, she gets all of her dogs genetically tested before breathing. This way Doberman‘s don’t mind up with DCM or other maladies. I found Bonneterre Dobermans online. I had been dogless for about 5 years and had asked the Universes to set me up on my perfect companion. Suzanne and I connected and Blu and I have been together for 5 months now. He is HUGE and lovely and calm and personality wise ...amazing. This is the 2nd time I have owned a Doberman and Blu's personality, conformation and health is 100x better than my first. He goes everywhere with me and receives comments all the time about his size, color and temperament.

You will never find such a loving, caring Breeder. She’s been doing this for 40 years plus. She keeps her young puppies away from the public to keep them safe from getting parvo and other diseases. So she will ask you what kind of puppy you’re looking for, and also show you online all of them so you can choose the one that makes your heart go pitter patter.
