Love this place.
Came here b/c I was in the area after seeing the Mercury News piece about best sandwiches in the bay. Was a little skeptical—never had a salmon sandwich—but it was so so good. I got it on Dutch crunch with caramelized onions—can’t imagine it without those. Not to mention Jennifer and Nate were so kind and welcoming, true to what many other reviewers have said. Can’t wait to come back ASAP!! And great place to watch some basketball too, $6 pints! And a cash discount! $23 for the sandwich and a beer.
Great ordering
Great sandwich! To paraphrase my adorable 3 yo grandaughter, it was a "big, big sandwich!" Lots of nice sports paraphernalia, owner is a big supporter of local sports teams. Very friendly, welcoming place.
