Why is it 82 was sprayed with weed killer? This goes against everything TxDot publicly claims to be ensuring. Very few bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush, along with other native flowers blooming along Hwy 82 in Fannin county this year. Sorely disappointed as this is the highlight of driving Texas roads, because it’s certainly not the bumpiness/unevenness of Hwy 82.
I am extremely pleased with Maintenance Supervisor, Mr. Hale, and his crew (apologies for not remembering all names). I reported our ditch was having issues draining. He and his crew came out to assess the issue, advised us on how we could improve drainage, and reassured us they would bring in equipment to dig it out. Within a few weeks he and his crew had completed the project. They’re diligent, hard working, friendly guys that go above and beyond to complete tasks. Thank you guys!
