Best team ever and the most efficient service
Needed to simply get a blue slip for a relatively new car, it took 2 days, they wanted to add on extra irrelevant charges as well as charge (200/hr) to take apart the car to find an engine number- They couldnt tell me how long it would take exactly but I would be charged for their time. my own mechanics found this in 5 min, it was just under the bonnet. $170 to change my lights on a 2012 Volks G with an additional $40 for installation. I’d rather pay for the quote and return to my normal mechanic who changed and installed them for under $100 in Clovelly. I don’t trust this advice and recommendations of the mechanics here. Have had two POSITIVE experiences with this Auto Service Shop! They're honest, efficient and affordable. Firstly, BJ Auto replaced very noisy faulty alternator for a fair price!!! Backstory: took the car to Toyota for a diagnosis and they told me the noise was the AC compressor, would be over $2000 to fix. I was dubious from Toyota diagnosis video with showed nothing...so, brought the car to Bondi Junction Auto for a second opinion. **WORRIED ABOUT SAFETY OF FAMILY AFTER CAR SERVICE** Car was serviced 6/5/2025 and charged $645 (including pink slip). They day after start-stop system error displayed as in pictures below. Returned to garage 09/5/2025 and told error due to 4 failing spark plugs (unlikely) and charged $830.
