I brought my cat in because she cracked her two front canine teeth. The vet told us she had pulp/nerve exposure and it was critical we got her surgery as soon as possible. When I asked multiple times over the phone and in person for a quote on extractions, they did not provide the information. I did research and no matter where I looked, the cost of those two teeth extractions in Chicago would be close to 2k (around 700-800$ per tooth). Bond Vet isn't our regular veterinarian; however, Dr. Lam and Victoria made my dog's visit for diagnostic imaging as quick and stress free as possible. Yes, if you call you do have to speak to AI first, but it is easy enough to get a team member on the phone.

We drove all the way from the suburbs into the city on Saturday because our dog, Huggy, needed urgent treatment for a ruptured anal gland abscess. While I’m grateful that he was able to be seen and treated, the experience afterward was extremely disappointing. Huggy was supposed to go home with two medications. When we got home, we discovered that one of the medication containers was empty. The other medication required refrigeration, but no one told us that when we were discharged. Vet is awesome, great service. Customer support/AI answering the phone calls… inside the Hall of Fame of terrible. one of the worst i’ve encountered and makes it super difficult for true human interaction.

I will never be going back to Bond Vet after the stupid implementation of an 'AI assistant' who does nothing but encourage you not speak to a person - when you have a question about your pet, and need to speak to a person. It's not helpful, it's not kind, it's not an improved customer experience and does not make staff more efficient. It's a total waste of money, and a way of infuriating everyone.
