I can't say enough good things about Dr. Buchalter and the team at Bond Vet w77th st! They went above and beyond to help my dog, who really struggles to be handled by people, feel comfortable, safe and supported during her visit and were excellent throughout the entire process. For anyone with a dog who needs some extra love at the vet, you simply cannot do better than Dr. B and her team.
Horrible experience. My dog came in with a covered wound, they took of the covering, told us he ‘may need stitches’ but that he would be fine either way. Then expected us to walk out with him bleeding. Then another vet came and said he needs stitches immediately. Shocking that a practice like this was prepared to send us out worse then when we came in. Clearly incompetent, would not trust any animal with this practice. Avoid at all costs!
I brought my cat here in September for vaccine updates. When the dr. took her into the back room for her shots, he trimmed her nails without asking my permission. I do not trim my cats nails as she doesn't scratch & I just don't find it's necessary for her. I told him and the receptionist that I was very upset by this, no one was apologetic. We got a rescue dog and realized she was in pretty rough shape. We got a same day appointment on a Sunday. We saw Dr. Addison Spitzer and he was so great that I wish he was a human doctor as well.
Firstly they have flexible hours, which is important. Secondly, they treated both myself and my cat with care, compassion and thorough assessment. Thank you for helping me feel so confident in the treatment recommendation.
