I went to a hair consultation with Emily a while ago to get hair extensions. She showed me a halo clip on hair extension that was $900 and convinced me to buy it as it was “most likely going to be gone in a week”. I was 16 and did not have a good grasp on money, so I bought it as my prom was in a week and was in a time crunch. I was planning to rent a room for PMU services in a shared space after seeing an advertisement on Facebook. There were two empty rooms available, and I saw that the room I would rent had a sink, which is essential for my work. I started losing hair a month ago. I tried a new shampoo to put some volume in my hair. My head started to itch like crazy and my hair started falling out. I tried different shampoos and anti itch medicine. I went to my primary doctor and she gave me a topical steroid to apply to a bald spot that’s getting bigger, referred me to a dermatologist who I can’t get an appointment with til May.
