I want to start by saying me and my friend came in and ordered some wings and strips - they came out a little over 30 minutes later because they presumably forgot the order. Very frustrating. That being said, i can't lie, when the food did come out it was pretty good. It has a unique crunch to it that I wasn't expecting! Twice I have come here, bringing a group, when the website clearly says the restaurant is open, only to find it closed! Very annoying. It is a Saturday afternoon at 3 and the shop is closed and locked up. Why? No sign on the door.
Ordered a takeout, only to find a burnt piece when I’m half way in the food. It’s incredible that whoever packaged the food thought it was okay to include burnt food and not say anything.
I went this thursday. First of all, the food was incredible….. I understand the prices due to the fact that the cuisine is very fulfilling and tasty. The worker was a sweet heart- I am visiting from Australia and she really made a highlight of my Tempe visit, she suggested some things on the menu- I had the bibimpap, 6 wings, and a corn dog. She even told me some good spots to visit in Tempe/ Arizona. 10/10 costumer service. If I lived here I would visit every bloody day!
I came in today and was greeted right away. The cashier was super sweet. I’ve never tried Bonchon before so she let me take my time to look at the menu and even gave me recommendations to try. I got the drumsticks and they were amazing. I will be coming here again! :)
