The chicken is very tender, flavorful and feels freshly made. It is well seasoned.
I tried this location because I was in the area. I’ve heard great things about the chain. I was excited to try the fried chicken drums and unfortunately was very disappointed. The chicken was fried very well, but had absolutely no taste. It seemed like whoever fried it skipped seasoning it. I plan to try a different location. On a different note, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly.
Just got an order from the Hackensack location. CHANGE YOUR OIL!! Fries were made in this old oil as it tasted like it was rotten. The chicken as well cause they most likely used the same oil for frying as a whole. I had gotten this before from fort Lee no problems. But this location needs to be better managed and who ever is in charge should make sure that changing the oil is routine and part of daily procedures.
