I haven’t had Bonchon (last time in North Carolina) in over 7 years, but the flavour has gone downhill, while the meat sizes are tiny. The drumsticks used to be humongous, so I don’t know what happened there. Imagine spending $30 and the amount of chicken is the size of your fist.
Bonchon never fails to satisfy. One of the best places to get fried chicken in Manhattan.
food was not bad but that’s if you’re willing to wait 40 minutes. this restaurant is only bearable if you order pickup and that’s if you order 40 mins ahead of time. if you intend on sitting down, bring a blanket and a pillow.
food tasted alright, but the service was extremely slow. took 35 minutes for the food to come out, and it coincidentally came out right after we asked about the status of our order. (it wasnt even busy). will not be coming back.
