I love the Korean tacos and the chicken wings was soo delicious
According to google, bonchon means "my hometown". What it should mean, however, is "Best. Korean.Fried.Chichen.Ever." I have had my share of korean fried chicken, and although my experience is not extensive, I have not eaten anything like this before. I ordered the lunch special - 4 wings + 2 drumsticks and asked for the spicy sauce flavor. And, I have to tell you, it was finger-licking delicious. They have no lunch specials so you have to buy a larger quantity of food. The backboard menu wasn't lit/working so you had to order off a paper menu they had taped to the counter. When asked if I could just buy 2 chicken legs and a soda I couldn't and was told the smallest order was 5 piece! I thought this Bonchon was like the one in fountain Valley but it's not. Even though Fountain Valley is further it's a way better restaurant with lots more options.
Got a spicy chicken sandwich combo with fries to go. About $14 but very much worth it. The chicken is very juicy, crunchy and flavorful. The fries are thick and flavorful, nothing crazy but they complement the sandwich very well. It was my first time trying this spot and I’m happy to come back and try other items on the menu.
Love the food but they keep missing orders. They missed side orders on pickup as well as delivery
