Great food and service – This started as a special occasion restaurant for us. Now we eat there even more frequently. My husband had a function there and everyone raved that it was a great choice. My favorite is their short ribs.
Awful Service - Awful Food – I'll keep this short and sweet. We reserved a private dining room for a special event. Needless-to-say, we were forgotten about from the time we sat down. Our waiter had tables on the other side of the restaurant, so we paid the price for that. We had to request water, and bread - twice. Not sure why since they had the reservation for over 2 weeks, why the table wasn't set with water, bread, etc before we arrived is beyond me. I can't get enough of Bon Caldo! – I love, love, love Bon Caldo. My husband and I have eaten there a million times and their food is consistently excellent. We mainly get take out because we have a whole lot of kids and can't get out very often but they are always so professional and courteous. I live and die for their chicken Picatta, if you like that dish, try it at Bon Caldo. They have really great Ceaser salad and their desserts are fantastic!
Outstanding Experience – Arrived 5 minutes late for a 7:00pm Saturday evening reservation, was greeted by a smiling hostess and primptly seated. Our server Renato was very promt with our drinks and had great recomendations for our dinner. I had the salmon all griglia which was perfectly cooked and served with a crisp spinach salad, my date had the braised short ribs which we were told were a specialty and that they were, my date said they were the beat he ever had. Very disappointed – I made a reservation and requested a booth as it was my husband's birthday and this is his preferred type of seating. When we arrived we were informed by the hostess that a booth was not available. We were then seated at a table for four that was awkwardly situated in the far corner of the restaurant.
