I give them 4 stars because of their hospitality. I was traveling across country with my grandkids and daughter a massive thunderstorm hit The power was out everywhere. I had to get my family out of the storm We looked up for the nearest hotel nearby and came up with this. When we arrived we were greeted by very nice people , really down to earth. Thank you so much for your hospitality. The rooms were clean

My review reflects what so many others have said. It's not glamourous from the outside, but so nice inside. For Route 66 enthusiasts, like me, this is a gem! The inside was like it may have been like some 50 years ago and so pristine! Why would anyone want to waste there time with one of those brand name places by the freeway? It was so quiet here. I would also say that it had the best price-to-value of the 12 places I stayed on this trip. For a simple motel it had to have had the largest bathroom of them all. Vega also has ... read more
