A must! Bon Temps has fabulous food. Everything is awesome but I really love their breakfasts. They make an Eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes that is amazing. The prices are in line with what you would expect. I would recommend them to anyone!
Bon Temps Creole Cafe is New Orleans :)! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner... ALL GOOD! The Mardi Gras celebration and dinner is great too! want some New Orleans flavor in SLO, here's the place to go!
Great food, great atmosphere and good prices The food here is really good and definitely unique. Go here if you want a quality yet out of the ordinary meal for a change. Definitely not your average burger and fries! The blackened chicken with fried green tomatos was great.
Better cajun than Louisianna My husband and I have eaten in Louisiana and the food was not as good a Bon Temps. I love the collard greens and muffaleta and rice & beans etc. Every meal was fabulous. We have eaten here since the cook was serving up at Live Oak Festival food stand before he had a place. So sad about the fire. I was just sending a visitor over to the place when I heard the news. Hope and pray they can get back up and cooking.

I have lived in New Orleans. I have dined in New Orleans restaurants Uptown, Downtown, Midtown, French Quarter. This restaurant has the best Cajun food I have ever tasted anywhere, period. The BBQ shrimp and Eggs Benedict should be eaten at Bon Temps, even if its the last thing you ever do in your entire life, then you could die happy. TEN STARS. - Actual Customer M.F.
