Bombay Grill We usually get take-out since the kids don't care for the spicy food. The chicken tikka and the vegetable samosas are great. I could eat the nan bread all day long. The lamb vindaloo can be hit or miss. Sometimes it is great and there are times when the lamb has too much gristle.
Wishing for a better Indian restaurant in Park Slope Have only eaten here once and it wasn't a good experience. When I decided to try it again, went with a friend and we were the only people there. We walked in, sat down, and were ignored by the staff as they proceeded to spray cleaning fluid all around. Needless to say, it was totally off-putting and we left. No third chance here!
Good indian food My family eats here quite often as it is just across the street. The food is good, the service is always prompt and the take out is delivered very quickly.
Pretty good Indian My husband loves Indian so we order a lot of take-out from them. I am not crazy about most of their stuff - lots of sauce and muddy flavors in the curries but I do like the chicken Tikka Masala and the okra dish they have. The take-out shrimp dishes are disappointing - a few dried-out shrimp for 14 bucks. I do think they do better for in-house dining and the atmosphere is pleasant.
