Damned good food/service, strong drinks, spotty music I had to-die-for: crabcakes twice (consistently good), chocolate cake, a bite of French fries :) and my friend said her smoked salmon appetizer was fantastic. Hamburgers are huge. The drinks are great and they do a generous pour (actually, it's probably just that they give you the amount of the actual alcohol you've purchased instead of a half-shot of rotgut!). Service is outstanding. Sure, things are expensive, but you really get what you pay for and the atmosphere is re... read more

VERY disappointing, avoid this place – My wife and I came down to enjoy some martini's on the whim of a recommendation from a friend. I will think twice about listening to that person again. When we first arrived, they must have asked us 3 times what we wanted to order in just a few short minutes. It felt like they wanted us in and out of there ASAP. We requested to sit in the court yard for some fresh air (it's very dark in there) and they said sure. Once out there we must have waited over 45 minutes before giving up and wa... read more

( and he didnt just recommend the 12 dollar martinis either) i would have to recommend this restaurant for anyone who just wants a low key dinner in... read more

Disappointing New Years Dinner – Avoid this restaurant. The bar is okay if you just want drinks. My date and I ate an early dinner here on New Years Eve, 2004-2005. We had a set menu. Nobody else was in the restaurant except for a European couple just married. Dinner for two cost $171. I had a $10 martini and my date had a glass of water. For the price of that meal, you'd expect the food to be amazing. It was not. The food was disappointing. The duck soup was bland and heavy. The walnut salad was not as good as it could have... read more

Sophisticated martini-cigar bar and restaurant caters to a mature crowd. – The Scene An upscale retreat from nearby Bourbon Street, this stylish hotel bar is outfitted with a British Colonial design and offers tasteful live jazz and blues music. Overstuffed, leather wing chairs accompany tables, while comfortable stools line the handsome wood bar in the refined, yet friendly, space. Skilled mixologists accommodate specialty martini drink orders along with gentlemanly mainstays like bourbon and scotch. Fetch a cigar from the ... read more
