Located in the heart of Cherry Creek, this restaurant is a popular dining stop with shoppers. Indian authenticity is immediately confirmed when you must decide between Indian-style seating with cushions and low tables, or the standard table and chairs. Outdoor dining is available in season. Weekends provide live sitar and other noted forms of Indian music. If you enjoy rich saucy foods you will love the fare here, which includes a variety of lamb, chicken, and veggie dishes, including the tasty Saag Paneer.

Repeat Customer For sure. – Went back to my favourite Indian Rest. In the whole world. And guess what it got even better. The food was amazing as always, the tikka masala which i thought coudn't be better than before was actually better this time. my friend never had indian food before so i took him there, nice ambiance specially friday with the live sitar player, very friendly owner and knowledgable staff. I have tired almost all of indian rest. In denver and no one compares to this little gem in cherrry creek.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! – If you know how authentic indian food tastes like, then you'd know this place is not the one. it's very expensive in comparison to the portion you get. And the taste?? geeez...this is the worst indian restaurant i've ever tried. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
Bombay Clay Oven - great authentic Indian food I've been going to the Bombay Clay Oven for years and the food has always been fantastic. The curries are always great and appropriately spicy, especially the chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo. They also have a great variety of Indian breads, and the naan is fantastic. The Indian drinks, especially the chai, are made from scratch and are wonderfully authentic.
Great place for a date – I recently took a first date there and she was highly impressed with the food and the atmosphere. But I think the best part was that she had never had indian food before and the waiter spent time with her explaining what everything was and how it was prepared. She loved the food and the atmosphere and said she wanted to go there with me again on the next date! Highly recommended for a date!
Great Food & Service - Loved it! – We loved this place when we visited, the staff was exceptionally friendly and the food was to die for! We sat the special seating and dined until late, it seems like this is the new place for dinner with my husband. I got him to relax and cuddle during dinner. I would highly recomment it! Barb & Sam
sub-excellent food from the sub-continent – We walked over to get take-out (i live very close) and chose Bombay because I just couldn't bring myself to get treated terribly at Cherry Creek Grille again, but that's another story. While the girl who helped us was very nice and informative when we had questions about the menu, the food took sooo looong to come out. We ended up getting drinks and waiting outside on the patio. It was an off time, and we were literally the only people there, so pretty inexcusable. The hostess, the... read more
Horrible Delivery Service – I was visiting from out of town and was looking for some quality Indian food. I ordered a chef's special chicken dish with a side order of Garlic Nan. With delivery service, the total came to a whooping $30 but I was craving it so I went ahead anyway. First thing I saw that was wrong was the portion was tiny when I received the delivery. I then opened up the Nan and found that it was not only extremely small, it was also burnt on most pieces. Their was hardly any chicken in my dish and there wasn'... read more
Consistent food quality & service! – Moving to Denver from Colorado Springs, we really had a tough situation on our hands when we needed to find a new Indian restaurant to visit. We are whole-hearted fans of Mirch Masala off of Academy Boulevard (if you're down there, say hello to Tikka! He is a wonderful guy and will take great care of you!). I have found that Bombay has been a close second to the service and food quality we see at Mirch Masala. I'm not that comfortable in the little hut-like seating with the cushions (I ca... read more
